Come to the City College ESL Campus Monday – Friday to get information on their free ESL classes in San Francisco. Beginners do not need to take a test, just stop by Room 104 to find out how to start. Students who know English can take a placement test. The school offers placement tests, on a computer or using pencil and paper, a few times per month. You can take classes during the fall or spring semester, and even during summer. You can learn how to write a resume and cover letter, get ready for a job interview, talk to your boss and co-workers and how to write e-mails for work. You’ll also learn how to use computer programs like Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel for work.

After taking these Non-Credit ESL classes, many students go on to study business, computers, hotel management, medicine and other subjects in college.
